If I may delve into the worlds of sports and popular culture for a minute or two, and now that his divorce is final, I have a question I would like to ask Mr. Eldrick Woods. Was it worth it?
Was it worth losing your wife (a former Swedish swimsuit model, you moron. What the hell do you want?) your children, your reputation, your carefully constructed image, somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 million-give or take a couple hundred million-and oh by the way Tiger, in case you haven't noticed, your golf game has gone to shit along the way as well. Was getting a little on the side in Las Vegas worth losing all that?
I don't see how.

You're welcome.
Americans and the British LOVE to talke abou the rich and famous. And we LOVE to take them down. We have an entire industry built around that.
I agree, it's time to move on. Frankly, Tiger and his ex are keeping the story on the front page right now.
Me, I think I got chinch bugs in my back yard. But, I promise, as soon as get that under control I will tackle the "global warming" and "global freezing" problems.
Welcome to the Hurricane.
Yeah real life sucks sometimes. Which is why occasionally we choose to have a little fun here.
Lighten up already.
Thank you Carguy,
You put it better than I did. Mr. Woods is punishing himself far more intensely than Desperado or anybody else can. For God's sake, for years he hit a golf ball better than anybody else. He never claimed sainthood.
Let's get back to more cogent matters. Our economy is crashing, the Republican party is going insane and it is a race whether the world dies from freezing from running out of fossil fuels or roasting because we used them indiscriminately.
To those that say he didn't even cheat with pretty women..well, you're right, but damn, no matter who he cheated with, she wouldn't be as pretty as his wife.
She's one of the most beautiful women in the world (in my opinion).
He was on a lot of drugs though. I wonder if he's off of them now?
Who would have ever thought Tiger Woods and Lindsay Lohan would have so much in common..?
DeLay's not an idiot. He's in the A-hole Hall of Fame. Next to the big Dick.
I was just thinking, we are gonna have to add another wing pretty soon.
I see DeLay is asking for a change of venue. Maybe Alvin?
Speaking of Jesse James, he's in my idiot Hall of Fame next to Hugh Grant and David Justice.
well, if you insist.
Don’t sweat phitz. Every picnic has its ants, every swimming pool has its Baby Ruth bar.
I would bet his ex-wife got more than 100 mil. She was asking for 700, Tiger’s worth over a bil, so if she only got 100 she’s got a lousy lawyer.
About the other women. Engaging? Maybe. Willing? Definitely. But gorgeous? Have you seen the photos? His wife, make that ex-wife, looks better than any of them.
Des: I don't want to irritate phitz, but could we rag on Jesse James tomorrow?
P.S. If she got just $100 million, and had 12 mistresses, divide, carry the 3, into 20, plus 7......that's $8.3 million per mistress. Not ot mention the endorsements he lost.
To quote Dick Enberg......"Oh my!"
Easy to say now. Not that I am speaking from experience, but I SUSPECT, when an engaging, gorgeous, willing, young woman offers herself to you, declining that offer might be difficult, especially if you have been away from home for many months.
My daddy, 1/8 Cherokee always said, "Don't judge another Indian until you have walked a mile in his moccassins."
He thought he could get away with it. Big time athletes and actors have people do clean up their messes for them. Some messes can't be cleaned so easily.
Leave the man alone.
This is not worthy of this blog.
Seriously, Carguy if he thought he could be happy with one woman he was out of touch (hee hee) with his bad self. I fervently, fervently I say, believe that if you can't do the time don't do the crime!
It is never worth it..Anyone thinking about it, think twice...Learn from others...Enjoy the life you have or change it.
I do believe Tiger has problems and problems can be fixed with hard work.
Even though their marriage is over, it looks like they are still both involved with their children. Reassuring the kids that their love for them will never change.

-------Hey, I gotta agree with you on that. Perhaps he THOUGHT he could be happy with one woman. Being on the road like he is and being constantly bombarded with attention and having women throwing themselves at him (Besides being famouns, he is a nice looking guy), that was probably pretty naive of him. Then again, SHE should have known that professional athletes don't always make the best husbands.
I wonder if Craig Stadler has the same problem??? Probably not.
I DO wonder if he will ever be the same Tiger again.
And, we should ALL make note. Not EVERYTHING that happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas.
Fine example for our kids and young adults. Don't think he will learn anything until he hits rock bottom personally and professionally. I hoped she was able to to grip it and rip him a new one. Thank you.
100 Million, not a bad haul for her. The REAL question is why did he get married in the 1st place. What he showed despite all of his other incredible attributes was a lack of imagination. With his status he could have had his children and his women too. Instead, he 'chose' to wreck lives. It is an indication that our consciousness is trapped in a social box that is very destructive to our happiness and self-actualization.
I think with his divorce final he may actually get his career back on track and reach his full destiny as one of the all time greats.
No one - yet - knows what the final divorce settlement was, but I have a feeling that it all amounts to a pretty pricey piece of tail. Or actually pieces.......Tiger was a pretty busy guy.
Let's hope he's learned a lesson here.
