When the cubs thought Mama Grizzly Sarah was under attack from that no good "lamestream media" again yesterday after this video surfaced of the former governor's encounter with fellow Alaskan Kathleen Gustafson during the filming of Palin's TLC reality show, Sarah Palin's Duh-laska, they went on the attack:
The headline (since scrubbed) at Gateway Pundit screamed "THAT WAS NO TEACHER: Unhinged Leftist Who Confronted Palin is a Singer in a Drag Queen Band." Followed by this: "The poor little unhinged leftists had their panties in a bunch today after Sarah Palin confronted a far left loon for her rude and aggressive sign in Homer, Alaska." Later came the UPDATES from Macsmind:
UPDATE I: So far no confirmation of Gustafson's claim to be a school teacher. However she is President, Board of Directors, Kachemak Bay. Family Planning Clinic (KBFPC) in Homer, AK. Figures. ...
UPDATE II: According to the Alaska Teacher Certification website there is a Kathleen Gustafson registered, but unknown if this is her.
Really, now. How many Kathleen Gustafson's can there be in Alaska?
UPDATE VI: According to the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District website there is no Kathleen Gustafson registered as a teacher in the district which includes Homer.
UPDATE VII: Actually there is. A Kathleen Gustafson does appear on this PDF from the district. According to the document she's not a teacher but a "Theater Tech" at Homer High School. I wonder how the school district would feel about her misstating or more appropriately impersonating a teacher.
UPDATE VII: ... a "Theater Tech" can very well be a teacher
Turns out Gustafson is a teacher. "Theater Tech" is the name of the class, not the position. And the photo of her "in a drag queen band" was taken while she was directing a production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

And then there is Palin, who has five......there goes that Bell Curve again!
Idiocracy...we're watching it develop!
no, I thought so too
I'm telling you guys, that book, "The Bell Curve", explains all this. Smart people are having 1.7 children, not even maintaining the current population. Stupid people, I'm sorry, intellectually challenged homo sapiens, are having an average of 3.6 children. Do the math! Have any of you noticed how they have had to "dumb down" Jeopardy and how many people "flunk" "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader"?
Am I the only one who thinks Ms. P. is acting like she's high?
Why thank yew Shortstuff. My daily public service deed. ;-)
The Palinbots are about as smart as bear cubs and never let facts get in their way of adoring the Tundra Turd. To them it doesn't matter what she does, it is never her fault as they think she is perfect. Palinbots are educationally challenged.
On GMA Weekend on Sunday, (former) anchor Bill Weir made the comment that hearing people refer to them as "lamestream media" made him furious, because he knew how hard that entire team worked to get it right.
The rightwing whackjobs only use the disparaging term "lamestream media" because they have no facts to back up their asinine beliefs and they're not about to admit, in their arrogance, that they might actually be WRONG.
Case in point: The whacktard wingnuts at the chron, day in and day out. They keep repeating the same old, tired, worn-out GOP talking points. Even after they've been debunked and even after bubba has done a masterful job of smacking one or two of them into the midde of next week. You would think they would do something called "research". Especially after getting backed into a corner day after day after day.
These teabagging asses are just embarrassing. I certainly hope most of the rest of the world doesn't think these goofballs represent me.
Bunch of hysterical, frothing-at-the-mouths, rabid scumsuckers.
Palin...take your cubs (all of them) and go into permanent hibernation.
(The thought crossed my mind today that perhaps the Lord thought "oops, got the wrong Alaskan", but that would be a bit...crass.....or would it?
i thought i heard me some knees a'jerkin out there somewhere.
Maybe someone should tell them that being completely and thoroughly predictable by anyone with half a working brain isn't really a good thing(strategically speaking)
