You just can't make this stuff up. On Fox News Sunday night Carl Cameron asked Sharron Angle about running away from reporters who were trying to ask her questions about her wacky positions like what she meant by "Second Amendment remedies":
Cameron: There was a tremendous amount of discussion about Sharron Angle's taking the defensive posture.
Angle: We needed to have the press be our friend.
Cameron: Wait a minute! Hold on a second... to be your friend?
Angle: Well truly...
Cameron: It sounds lame...
Angle: Well, no, no, we wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported and when I get on a show and I say send me money to SharronAngle.com, so that your listeners will know that if they want to support me they need to go to SharronAngle.com.
I'm still laughing (rueful laughing) at her total cluelessness about the rights of a FREE PRESS.

It is possible for her to yoyo herself into a Senate seat. Divine intervention is needed.

Where DO they find such empty-headed twits such as Angle and Palin? Let's face it, with their qualifications, they should be asking, "Would you like fries with that?"

Reminds me of the time at school when the student body president told us (the newspaper staff) that we should spend more time "making news" than simply reporting it. He opened up all kind of Pandoras Box there. We created some good juicy headlines, "Student Body president in love with an alien." "Student body president embezzled funds." I mean, if you want us to MAKE news then.....
As for this dimwit, do the good people of Nevada really want this person in Washington if she can't even grasp the basic relationship with the press? I know she is used to Fox News, but I certainly wish the media only printed what I wanted them to print, but that ain't how freedom of the press works.
Granted, she's an idiot, but do you know what seems to be Ms. Angle's biggest problem? She suffers from what my grandfather used to call "diarrhea of the mouth".
