25 Worst in American History: Carter #1, McVeigh #9

The kooks at Right Wing News solicited the opinion of more than100 of their fellow kooks "conservative" bloggers on the 25 worst people in American history. Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, and FDR were 1, 2, and 3, ahead of Benedict Arnold, Timothy McVeigh, and John Wilkes Booth. Here's the entire list and the number of votes each received from the 43 blogs that responded:

23) Saul Alinsky (7)
23) Bill Clinton (7)
23) Hillary Clinton (7)
19) Michael Moore (7)
19) George Soros (8)
19) Alger Hiss (8)
19) Al Sharpton (8)
13) Al Gore (9)
13) Noam Chomsky (9)
13) Richard Nixon (9)
13) Jane Fonda (9)
13) Harry Reid (9)
13) Nancy Pelosi (9)
11) John Wilkes Booth (10)
11) Margaret Sanger (10)
9) Aldrich Ames (11)
9) Timothy McVeigh (11)
7) Ted Kennedy (14)
7) Lyndon Johnson (14)
5) Benedict Arnold (17)
5) Woodrow Wilson (17)
4) The Rosenbergs (19)
3) Franklin Delano Roosevelt (21)
2) Barack Obama (23)
1) Jimmy Carter (25)

Wait a minute. There are 23 wingnut bloggers who consider President Obama to be an American? They should have their Tea Party privileges revoked immediately. Here are just a few I thought of who didn't make the list. I guess they all rank somewhere behind Bill and Hillary Clinton:

Al Capone

Jeffrey Dahmer

John Wayne Gacy

Lee Harvey Oswald

Charles Manson

Jim Jones

Richard Ramirez

Ted Bundy

Dean Corll, David Brooks, and Elmer Wayne Henley--Houston mass murderers.

Roger Taney-Chief Justice who wrote the opinion of the Court in the Dred Scott decision.

Justice Henry Billings Brown-wrote the majority opinion on Plessy v Ferguson.

Wait a minute, scratch the last two. They'd  probably be on the list of Most Admired by this amalgamation of mental midgets.

When they beat the Redskins for one of their superbowl wins I commented that that guy disgusted me. I said I hoped the Cowboys got their as*es kicked the following year. Another fan (Redskins) said he hoped their plane crashed on the way home...now that's a committed fan!

If I had more than one entry...he'd be number 2

I'm stunned Barney the purple dinosaur isn't on this list.

I can't believe Jerry Jones doesn't make someone's list.

BREAKING NEWS: Wingnut Digest magazine today announced the results of their recent bloggers poll, "The Ten Most Admired Guys In American History"

1. Archie Bunker*
2. Randy Weaver
3. Snidely Whiplash*
4. George Lincoln Rockwell
5. David Duke
7. Nathan Bedford Forrest
8. Fritz Julius Kuhn
9. Charles Coughlin
10. Larry "Lonesome" Rhodes*

*Magazine officials later dismissed as a "minor detail cooked up by the liberal media" the fact that three of the names listed were fictional characters.

And what was their point of this useless survey? Are we supposed to take it seriously?

Right Wing News, eh? Imagine that!!!
Maybe Right Wing Regurgitation would be more to the point.

p.s. There's something siriusly wrong with them people.

I could easily fill this list with members of the Bush and Reagan administrations.

The difference is mine would be fact-based and theirs isn't.

Can you really look at the facts and say Reagan and Bush Jr. have done more to hurt middle class America than anyone else?

Al Capone went to his great reward believing he should be on the top 10 all time good guys list, anyway...my worst person in history, Anu, the original Alpha Draconian reptile...

Salamajav
(good day in the Canis Major Sirius language)

There's an offer I can't refuse.

There's at least a frosty beverage in it for you the next time I see you!

It boggles the mind each and every day how downright damned STUPID these rightwing, GOP, mouth-breathing, RushLimpballs believing, whacktards are.

The reason they don't want to encourage education, or fund education?

Because educated people think. And thinking people don't vote Republican.

(stomps off muttering....)

"idiots idiots idiots idiots...."

Good call. Why should I expect a response that requires thought from the people who brought us pull the plug on grandma, get your government hands off my Medicare, and the president is a Kenyan, Muslim, Marxist invader from another planet.

BTW, I’ll be expecting royalties for inspiring the blog idea. No checks please.

Des, the mistake you're making is trying to apply reason to why they would put people on a list.

There is no reason behind most of what these wankers say and do these days. Their biggest reason is "because I said so."

Impolitic intolerance - the GOP tag line. Oooh, there's my new blog ...

Further proof you can never let truth get in the way of a good bias.
