Tim Lahaye, what a goof ball. He was at one time a good bible teacher but money, fame and fortune have snared him to the degree that he speaks foolish.
Wait a second. I thought that the whole point of these people, trying to breed the perfect red heifer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Heifer in Israel, that can be sacrificed to bring about the building of the 3rd Temple http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Institute, was *WAS to bring about the apocalypse which of course brings about the second coming. Isn't that the whole idea of dumping money into Israel and screwing up any efforts of peace in the Middle East, is so that the battle of Meguiddo can happen? You know they want things to fail so they can bring in their ideal world....a theocracy....where THEY rule and they can tell the people what to do, how to think, how to worship. And probably put to death those non-believers.
