Stupid Quote of the Day

Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour:

"Barbour described the oil as "weathered, emulsified, caramel-colored mousse, like the food mousse." "Once it gets to this stage, it's not poisonous," Barbour said. "But if a small animal got coated enough with it, it could smother it. But if you got enough toothpaste on you, you couldn't breathe."

What. An. Idiot.

"It's not poisonous"?
Jesus. Let's dump him in a pot of oil and see if he can breathe.
Where do they find these neanderthals to vote into office? He makes pinhead Perry look halfway intelligent. And that's a thought that turns my stomach.

my first thought was "Get the man a straw and let him prove his words"....hell, i'll even front him some whipped cream

When you think of, and , please, really "think", a lot of guys get elected governor because they
"look" like a governor. I can think of several in the south that fit that description.

..no wonder Mississippi is the lowest in meeting education standards with a governor the likes of Barbour.

Well I guess my response would be "Ok, go out and start gobbling down some of it, you appear to have not missed breakfast for the last several decades, dig in. We will all be grateful for your efforts."

Um yeah, last I checked we have all the requisite "safeguards" in place to prevent a likely massive toothpaste spill while drilling in the gulf.

Hey "genius" go back to remedial analogies school before opening your mouth again. And this guy runs a state? I see why Mississippi at the bottom of just about every educational category...

Knife? that guy is a spork!

Wonder how many generations of selective inbreeding it took to create the cretin?

Mom and Dad were brother and sis' for a long time in this proud white southern family.

He is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

What? This guy is totally clueless. Where's he been during this mess? I've seen Jindal and Crist making the rounds but no sign of Barbour.

Its right up there with the Blatantly Pathetic CEO when he said he'd like to get his life back. Didn't a lot of execs and people in the spotlight used to get PR training ? Obviously some people didn't take the classes.
