This appeared on CNN's Crossfire in 2004. Not much seems to have changed. We're still grossly partisan as a nation (or at least the politicians are), and the media are still hacks.
"I'm not your monkey" ... Jon Stewart, I love you.
As you know, CNN cancelled Crossfire in January of 2005 -- more info in an interesting follow-up piece here:

" ... most major media outlets, have a long way to go before the thinking public truly respects them again."
Yeah, the thinking public ... that may be where we're in trouble.

Jon said it best,"the absurdity of it all." Nothing describes our political system better.
"You're CNN! The show that leads into me is puppets making prank phone calls."
That made me LOL.
He's goooddd!
If that guy ever took life seriously he could be dangerous. No, not really, it's obvious he's very serious!
Jon Stewart is real sharp on his feet. He has some excellent points and can debate, defend his position, AND come up with one liners on the fly. I would really love to see him in action as a representative in gubment, or interview Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh.
Voice, I admit to never having watched Crossfire. But after seeing this clip, Jon Stewart was right. Tucker Carlson is a real dick.
