I'm Dreaming of a Right-Wing Christmas

When I think of Christmas Carols I think of happy songs about time with family or rejoicing the birth of Jesus.  Songs like The Little Drummer Boy, White Christmas, Silent Night, and Frosty the Snowman will always bring me back to my childhood and will hopefully become cherished holiday songs for my young sons.  I feel many of us in this country feel the same way, but apparently not everyone feels the same way.

The right-wing has determined that these holiday classics don't really express Christmas properly.  Two writers and "comedians" for humanevents.com have written the right-wing version of "Feliz Navidad".  The lyrics of this song, as printed by thinkprogress.org, are some of the most blatantly racist that you will ever hear.

Illegals in my yard.
Illegals in my yard.
Illegals in my yard.
Sixteen arrive in a stolen car[...]
They're getting free organ transplants this Christmas.
They're going to have anchor babies this Christmas.
They're going to scream "sí, se puede" this Christmas.
Those illegals in my yard[...]
They're going to spread bubonic plague this Christmas.
They're going to bring me lots of bed bugs this Christmas.
They're going to pass tuberculosis this Christmas.
Those illegals in my yard.

The song is meant to appeal to those with racist beliefs and fuels false stereotypes about Hispanics.

The song is the product of Talk Radio Network's Matt Fox and AJ Rice's "The Fox and Rice Experience."  These two have produced other similar creations including one "tasteful" spoof entitled "Sasha Obama's Big Mouth" and another Christmas song "We're Beginning to Look A Lot like Marxists."  I am sure Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh will pounce all over Fox and Rice and let them know that the far right wing is tolerant of minorities.

Ultimately, they only way to combat this type of racial intolerance is through education and by bringing this type of behavior out in the open.  People like Fox and Rice must be exposed and their antics are shown for what it really is THRASH.

I know what I want to ask Santa for Christmas.  That is to give idiots like Fox and Rice a heart.  Hmmmm.....maybe I would be better off asking the Wizard of Oz, either way they are a waste of oxygen.  My biggest fear is that the way the Democrats are trying to destroy their majorities in Congress. The GOP will believe that this type of racial intolerance will be the direction to steer their policies if they come to power.

Yep, let's give them what they feared in the first place! - Holding compounds (internment camps) and and educational makeover (enforced re-education). That ought to do it!

I am not a fan of political correctness that has run amok, as is the case with the most current victim - Santa Claus. Some want him banned because he is a terrible role model for children. Why? Because he is overweight, engages in dangerous behavior by hopping from rooftop to rooftop, and has no seat belt in his sleigh. Sorry, but that is sheer craziness. What about the fact that he has been married to Mrs. Claus for eons, is smiling and jolly, fraternizes with and employs hard-working elves, and spends every Christmas Eve filling children with wide-eyed wonder? He even gave a laughingstock reindeer the chance of his life to lead the entire process, for heaven's sake. What about that image, huh?

But taking a joyous Christmas song and defiling it with such pure hate is reprehensible. Such sickening displays are the antithesis of what this season is supposed to represent. There are no words strong enough to describe anyone who would enjoy it and/or think it humorous . . .
