You want to read batshit crazy stuff? Read some of the posts over at the "belief" forum on the chron. Idiots saying stuff like "liberals can't make good parents". "Liberals are commies". Those fools wouldn't know a commie if one bit them on the ass.
Exactly and therein lies the problem with people today.
"You can fool SOME of the people ALL of the time."
Therein lies the problem.
What's particularly scary isn't so much the talking heads. I don't think they believe half of the stuff they throw out there. What's scary are the folks that do believe.
Rush & Co.'s rhetoric is merely a tactic to protect the corporations who run this country.

One of the most thought provoking videos, and for someone like me --- who remembers the "McCarthy Era" all too well -- and the lives it destroyed -- This is one of the scariest things I've seen in a while.
I don't watch or listen to the Becks, Limbaughs, Savages, etc., of the world. I don't want to hear the hate they preach.
That other people do, and are influenced by what they see and hear ... is indeed frightening.
Witness... the death of a census bureau employee just recently.
If it is a homocide.... the seeds of hate that these people plant, have indeed begun to bear fruit.
